Just Amazing

"I stand amazed in the presence.
Of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me,
A sinner, condemned, unclean."

I've sung that song many a Sunday morning. But those words ring more true for me today than they ever have. I know what a sinner I am. I know how far I have strayed from God's word.

And yet, still, He loves me. He loved me enough to take my sins upon himself and die. He loved me enough to conquer death and live again so I might also have eternal life with Him. He loved me enough to do all this before I was even born.

Amazing! Just amazing!
